Carol Holmes has been an attorney since 1983 and opened her own firm in April, 2001, in Lake Orion, Michigan. Prior to becoming an attorney, Ms. Holmes practiced as a Registered Nurse for over 18 years and still maintains a nursing license. Ms. Holmes has extensive knowledge of medical malpractice issues and medical litigation, which gives her the ability to communicate with other medical experts and health care professionals in various types of cases involving medical law or licensure.
Her current practice consists of health care law, or medical malpractice litigation, administrative law (health care licensing issues) and private neutral mediation. Ms. Holmes sat as a case evaluator or mediator on various types of cases, and is a legal consultant to health care professionals and facilities. She has also frequently lectured on medical-legal and licensing topics.
Ms. Holmes has been listed in The World Who’s Who of Women, 11th Edition in 1992 for distinguished service, and was listed in 2,000 Notable American Women in 1992.
