Carol Holmes Hassberger (formerly known as Carol Holmes) has been an attorney since 1983. She was a partner with a major law firm in Detroit, then worked in several small firms, prior to opening her own firm in April, 2001, in order to provide more personalized service to her clients. Prior to becoming an attorney, Ms. Holmes Hassbergers practiced as a Registered Nurse for over 18 years. She still maintains a nursing license. Ms. Holmes Hassberger has extensive knowledge of medical malpractice issues and medical litigation, which gives her the ability to better communicate with medical experts and health care professionals in various types of cases involving medical law, practice or licensure.

Her current practice consists of health care law, which encompasses administrative law relating to health care licensing issues. Ms. Holmes Hassberger has served as a case evaluator or mediator on various types of cases, and is currently a legal consultant to health care professionals and facilities. She has also lectured on medical-legal and licensing topics.

Ms. Holmes Hassberger has been listed in The World Who’s Who of Women, 11th Edition in 1992 for distinguished service, and was listed in 2,000 Notable American Women in 1992. She has copyrighted a case management system for file tracking, and has several publications to her credit.

Outside of her practice, attorney Carol Holmes Hassberger is interested in photography, and holds a certificate in digital photography from the College of Creative Studies in Detroit, 2013. She lives with her husband in Lake Orion, Michigan.
